Please join us for a complementary tasting of the Macco Organic Product Line imported from Italy and distributed in the United States by Pane e Vino Imports, LLC. The extra virgin Olive Oil, the patés (green olive, black olive and asparagus), the baby artichokes packed in olive oil and the honey are certified USDA Organic by Certisys spiral. These products, now available for the first time to businesses, are the same used in homemade recipes prepared in our restaurant for the dining pleasure of our retail customers; they enhance food flavors and promote a healthy Mediterranean diet. Pane e Vino imports and distributes products grown and packed from Bosco Ficuzza, an organic farm located at the slope of the Madonie Mountains in Sicily, in the territory of Cerda, Province of Palermo. It is 200m above the sea level and it lies between two hills, the Pero and the Cannatino, which gently slope down to the Imera river. The distance from the northwest coast of Sicily, about 15km, and the  altitude of 200m are optimal conditions for the growth of the olive orchard. As indicated by the ruins of the ancient city of Himera, olive trees have been planted here by the Greeks approx. 2,500 years ago. Family members are involved in every step of the production process, from the organic cultivation of the trees, to the harvest, packaging and finally delivering our quality products to the consumer.
